Slowly Kakashi wondered through the forest, his head lowered, staring at his book of course. He stuck his arm behind his back, holding the book with his other hand. His eye looking at the book but still watching his surrondings. He was very proud of his students, Naruto Sasuke and Sakura. Ever since they where his students he was proud of them but there was a feeling in him that made him wanna hug them. His eye shifted upward as he heard a low sound coming from a near by bush. Come here, Zodik. he said, a low sigh admitting from his mouth. Slowly a large canine shifted out of the shadows, showing his gray-ish white frame to the sun.
Kakashi gently patted his leg and the large canine trotted up to him. He wore a Leaf Village band around his neck, he wore a black vest around his upper half, his forehead had black hair sticking up, like a mohawk and had white baneges around his right front pillar. He wagged his tassel and gently walked up to Kakashi. He gently licked his hand, his jaws parting with a canine grin. Kakashi couldn't help but grin back. Hey boy. He said, rubbing the back of the dog's aud. Zodik closed his eyes and yawned happily. Kakashi slapped the side of his leg and started walking, his canine pal at his side.

The forest, though calm that day, was always littered with suprises, whether they be small or large. It always interested the young man how many things that you could see if you just looked hard enough, just looked close enough. But some of these 'surprises' came right out of the blue: And Damu, to say the least, was quite bored. Something interesting had to pass his path... At least one time would suit his anxiety level. Blonde hair rippled slightly as he blew out of his mouth, bright blue eyes scanning the ground below for any signs of ravishing life that he could watch, or in other words, 'spy on'. A grunt escaped him: Nope, nothing. Nothing at the slightest. Perched up in his tree branch, the adult could see most of his surroundings, but he could see nothing but the forest around him. Not even an animal came out of the bushes or homes to be in his presence, whether it was known or unknown to the creature. A hand lifted and fiddled with his un-rolled collar, eyes lifting from the ground and scanning the trees as the time slowly went by. Odd, wasn't it, how time flies when you're having fun, but drags along when there's nothing to do? Ah, well. Might as well... Relax, Damu supposed.
With all hopes lost, the young adult began to lean more on the tree he was sitting in, but became startled when footsteps reached his ears. With the sudden shock of something else but bird songs and his own breathing, he n early lost his balance and fell off the tree: But caught himself just in time. Exterior scooting back farther into the dark shade of the tree, he let the green leaves conceal him from whatever was approaching. Eyes shot to wear apeared a figure in the same clothing he was wearing, holding out a book with one hand with another behind his back. Nerves and muscles relaxed, and he merely grinned slightly at himself as the man he knew as Hatake Kakashi walked, unknowingly, in his presence. But what was he reading? Damu, a little bit curious, leaned over to catch a glimpse of the cover: But then, he spoke. Suddenly tensing up again and eyeing him oddly, he watched as a dog came bounding up to Kakashi's side before they went on their way again. Damu blinked, staring for a moment before his grip on the tree loosened, legs pushing himself off from the branch and landing swiftly on the ground below, landing on both feet erectly. "Nice dog. He asked suddenly, standing there and waiting for an answer.

Kakashi slowly stuck his hand in his weapon pocket, pullign out one of his kunai. Kakashi knew Damu was there all along but he wouldn't show it. He just walked on like he ever saw him. But then again Zodik didn't see him making him eager and stressed when he smelled him. When Damu had jumped from the tree and landed in front of him Zodik didn't know what to do but attack. He sank his large ivories into Damu's leg, his head shaky visously(?). Kakashi quickly grabbed hold of his head band and smack it against his nape, making him let go. NO! Kakashi said, his eye glaring at him. Zodik just whimpered and raced into the forest.
He sighed sadly and glanced at Damu. I'm sorry. Do you need any help with the wound? He asked, pulling out his kunai. He looked down at his book and then up at Damu, his eyes scanning his body to see if he had gotten stronger or weaker. By the looks of it he had gotten stronger, making him look more like a Jounin. Kakashi really didn't say or do anyhting else but put his book anyway.

Ooc; 'Dun worry, I've had huge large writer's block before. xD.
Damu hadn't expected the dog to attack him, but even though his skilled reflexes were trained quite perfectly and well organized, he hadn't seen the dog coming for he was focused on the other Jounin. Eyes narrowed as he felt the ivories of the canine sink into his flesh, and the adult's leg pulled abrubtly back as he tried to yank the dog of with the sudden movement of his leg. But, Kakashi had successfully shook Zodik off, and Damu watched as it went running into the forest, dissappearing into the green bushes before the two were left alone once more. Vision shot up to the other, shrugging slightly at the shoulders at his comments. "It's fine." He replied to the other's apology, looking down to the leg which the dog had bitten into. Not deep, but bleeding a good bit. Nothing that couldn't be fixed. Blue eyes looked back up to Kakashi at his other question, but the young adult merely grinned slightly and shook his head. "No, it'll be fine. I'll fix it up later." Though the wound was stinging slightly, the Jounin had sufferened much, much worse damage before.
There was a small silence as the two surveyed each other. True, he'd seen Kakashi around with his three students, perhaps even traded a 'hello' of some-sort, but they had never really shared a conversation. Well, what a way to start a conversation: You get attacked by their dog. "Damu." He said suddenly, nodding his head as he replied his name to the other Jounin. "I suppose you like dogs?" He asked, raising a brow and giving the other a slight smirk and a grin at the same time. Some conversation, eh?

Ikari wandered out of the forest, only to find the two jounin standing there. He froze as they turned to stare at him.
"Uh, I was looking for the front entrance... and I found you guys?" He turned to face the city, seeing the bright red gates in the distance. They stood out against the forest in great contrast. He stood there a moment longer, scratching his neck before turning to the two standing to the side still staring at him. "So... I guess it's over there and, um yeah. Who are you guys?"
