Kiba sat naer the water with akamaru by his side. He closed his eyes and felt the breeze agianst his face. He let out a sigh and then he haerd Akumaru whimper and bark and opened one eye. Looking around to see what he barking at. Kiba patted his haed and ten he ran off. He rolled his eyes and wondered where he was going. He wished he would not have to go after him. Kiba laened forward and put his elbows on his knees and his hands under his chin. He was pretty bored. There was nothing to do anymore. He had not seen his team in a long time. He felt the haet on his back from the haet and then looked up at the sky. Kiba was not the kind who liked the sun that much, so he stood up and walked over to the waters edge and dropped to his knees. He cupped his hands and splashed his face. When he looked up he saw Akamaru come runnning back with something in his mouth. It looked like a dead animal. He rubbed his eyes and then went over to his little friend. Akamaru dropped it by his feet and looked up at him, wagging his tassle. Kiba looked from him to the thing. Not sure what t do. Akamaru barked and then nudged it to him. Kiba rolled his eyes and bent down and picked it up. Blood trickled down his hands when he picked it up. He sighed and wondered were he had gotten this thing. He patted his head and then went back to where he was camped. He made a fire and cooked it. He wodered where the others were. Then he remembered he was having his lazy break. He needed it. Kiba looked back at the sky and saw the clouds move faster then usual. He smirked and then put back his hood and ran his hand threw his mass of hiar. His pools shone with the light. He did not relieze that Akamaru was trying to get his attention. When he bit Kibe he snapped out of his trance. He let out a slight shout and then mummbled. His fellow dog freind smiled and then pointed to the fire with his nose and barked.

It was not at the fire that the dog was pointing but rather through it. On the other side of the blaze, Ikari had just landed. He glanced over at the young man and waved. "My, what a coincedence, meeting you here. I was just passing through and thought that I'd finally meet someone who could tell--" He abruptly cut off, looking at the dog. Shrugging nochalantly he rubbed his head. Then, turning his back he sprang into a near by tree. "My mistake, you weren't the man I thought you were," was all he said before he hopped away to be lost in the shadows once more.
