Saphire a girl around 19 walked around. She had been at it for around two or three hours but she did not know where she was. Her chakera[?] was in the middle. She had been trianing for a long time so she was kinda excasted. She sighed and thought: "I am so lost! I have been going in circles for hours. I wish I had a freind, right now!" Saphire rolled her eyes and walked on. Her legs hurting and she was pretty tired from all this walking. She looked down at her feet. Now she saw a sunpatch threw the trees. Saphire sprang to the sun patch and looked up threw the trees. The sun was setting. She gritted her teeth and kicked a rock. She was so LOST! Saphire mumbled to herself and then she sat down on a root. She mummbled and started to play with a bit of her hiar. Her guard shot up when she felt eyes on her. She turned around too see only blackness. Saphire narrowed her blue eys and then only saw a bird fly away. She let out a sigh of relief. Now she leaned back agianst the tree and folded her arms behind her head and closed her eyes. She yawned and then fell in a light sleep. When she awoke her tummy grumbled and she sat up. She looked around and saw the sun riasing. Saphire rubbed her belly and sat up. Her hair was down and her bangs covering half of her face. There was some sun now peaking threw the trees.

The early afternoon was quickly approaching, but the adult perched up in the tree didn't seem to notice. In one hand, he held a small knife. In the other, a sharpened piece of wood, probably oak, freshly cut earlier that day. Knife sliced up and down the exterior of the sharpening slab of wood, the shavings either landing on the branch he was sitting on or falling down to the ground. Back was leaning against the log of the tree, the hard exterior, as blue eyes were focused down on the piece of wood. It was turning out nicely so far, and hopefully it would turn out like the Jounin hoped it would. The hand with the knife raised slightly rubbing his chin with the blonde stuble, inspecting it for further flaws that he might've missed. Nope. Damu set off to work again.
Then, suddenly a sound. Eyes shot to the ground, slightly shadowy from his headband tied around his forehead, the symbol slightly covered up by his blonde hair. His knife immediatley stopped raking on the wood, his grip tightening onto it as all was silent. Then, he noticed a girl sitting down on a root not far away. It was a good thing that the branch above the one the Jounin was sitting on concealed him entirely. Eyes watched her for a good five minutes, not moving at the slightest. She seemed not dangerous, but her framework and troubled aura told Damu that the girl was probably lost. But, you shouldn't go barging into things without knowing the whole situation. Eyes watched her until she fell to a light sleep, and a brow raised slightly as he cast his vision to the piece of wood. Very silently, he began scraping the knife, waiting for the girl to wake.
It wasn't long before she did, and he stopped sharpening the wood, eyes gazing over to her. Still, no sign that she was any danger. Legs musceled up a bit, and he pushed himself off the branch, landing on both feet with ease. Knife was still in hand, as well as the wood, but both arms were crossed over each other as he looked quizzically to the girl. "Are you lost?"

Saphire looked up and saw a boy around an adult and she haerd him speak and she said "Yes, I am lost." she looked up at the guy. Now she had a better look at him. Saphire then saw he was holding a knife and said "There is no need to attack me sir." she brushed her bangs out of her face and put them behind her ears. She smiled sweetly and then remembered never to smile at a stranger. She had been alone for a long time so she had wanted to speak with him. Saphire noticed that he was a Jonin like herself. She tilted her head and then looked away from him. Saphire had forgotten to say her name and said "My name is Saphire but if you want you can call me Saph. I am from the leaf village." she stood up. Her legs were cramped alittle so she stretched alittle. Then she looked up at the boy. Waiting for his name.

The Jounin smiled slightly, more of a sly grin then a warm one. At her comment at the knife, he laughed very lightly as he cast a small glance at it before vision was cast back up to the other. He raised the knife slightly, flinging it up in the air before catching it with the same hand at its wooden handle. "I'm not going to hurt you. I was just making a weapon." He showed her the sharpened piece of wood, which was now beginning to shape into a dagger-like weapon. He flashed a smile, shaking his head slightly. As she gave him her name, he nodded slightly. "Damu." He replied, raising a hand and doing a salute-sort of movement with a wide grin. He glanced from side to side. They were, still, alone.
"I'm from the Leaf Village, too." He replied to her again, nodding once more. "So, you're lost, huh?" He smiled, tucking the knife and dagger-in-making in his pocket, knife in its sheath. Arms came up to his chest and crossed over one another once again. "If you're from the Leaf Village, how're lost?" The adult's words were, obviously, filled with sarcasm, intwined in the syllables and such. A bird called off in the distance as there was silence, the Jounin waiting for the girl's answer.

Saphire shrugged and said "Dont know. To tell the truth I have been traviling and I have only just came back to the village but then i got all lost." she looked at the adult. She knew he was older then her by some yaers but he still seemed friendly even though some of them shouted at her. Saphire smirked slightly and then she tilted her head. He was almost as tall as she was. Her hiar blew in the gust of wind and her eyes shone in the light. Saphire wondered where Riku was. She had not een him for a long time. Last time she had seen him was when they were entering the forest. Then they were split up. Her hopes of finding him were lost when she had found out she was lost. She said "There is more to me hen others know." she almost said it to herself but she did say it out loud. Saphire looked at the weopon when he showed it to her. She nodded her haed.

The Jounin listened to her as she spoke of her explanation of being lost. Even if she was from the Leaf Village in which this forest was set surrounding, it was quite easy to get lost in its maze of trees and green hued-atmosphere. Damu nodded slightly, lifting a hand and swishing his blonde hair farther to the left side, fiddling with his 'popped' collar before his arm went into its crossed position over his chest with the other. "Understandable." He replied, raising a brow with a small smirk on his thin lips.
Then, his hearing picked up another odd, random statement she had let out of her own lips. Expression changed from 'cool' to puzzled, and his light blue stare looked to her for many moments, and silence engulfed them for the hundreth time that day. Then, Damu shrugged at the shoulders, making a jerk with his head so that the blonde strands of hair that had fallen loose from his haircut flew away from his acute vision. "Right." He replied, giving her an odd stare before turning away. "So, you need help gettin' out, or what?"

Saphire looked at him agian but this time not so unfriendly as she might have before. She lstened to him speak and then she smiled to herself. He almost had the same hair as her. It was blonde but hers was blonde with blue streaks. Her bangs covered the half of her face agian. Saphire said "yes, I do need help getting out of here." she felt like she had met him from somewhere before but she could not think of where. Saphire might have seen him from there village awhile ago but she could not remember. She she let her bangs stay over the side of her face. She smiled the smile lite up her whole face. She had put on a lot of eye shadow on today, for no reason at all. The color today was a deep green. She liked it because it brought out her eyes.
